Hey guys,
I recently purchased a used S100 and I am impressed with the amount of features it has for a compact camera. I already installed the CHDK and it works well so far. My question is what is the best shooting modes to put it in for KAP? I tested it out today on Auto as well as Scn modes, and I found the auto to be a bit cleaner. I shot at 10 second intervals. I have not figured out all the functions and effects of the different modes, but if someone can give be their best settings from their experience on this camera for optimal image quality, I would be greatly appreciative.

If you are good with CHDK programming then you can run 'brackets' of different shutter speeds I believe, e.g. 10 shots at 1/1000sec, 10 at 1/1250sec etc etc. Another popular bracketing option is for various states of zoom - wide open to fully zoomed in stages you define.
If you search the forum you should find scripts that have been shared for both CHDK and SDM. If you haven't already been there maybe go to Dave Mitchell's website for additional reference.
Maybe this script is what you are looking for

Some pics from my S100. The kite pics were on Auto mode and the Kap pic was in SCN mode. There are so many features on this camera and along with the different scripts of the CHDK, it will take some experimenting to figure out how this all works.
