Anything that has a button on the camera can potentially be activated with a servo.
In general KAP requires the widest angle lens possible. The swinging motion of the rig will be accentuated as the focal length of the lens increases so you will end up with more blurred pics as you zoom in on the subject.
Zoom is not something that I've tried, but it would seem zoom on a rig would work best with video. If you need the subject larger in the image get closer. I've only seen one KAP image that benifited from being shot with a long focal length, Linnar's Water Tower shot, best seen in its largest size.
By the way being able to add HTML tags to a post is great!
