KAP Workshop at Alviso EEC
CrisOn Saturday August 13, I offered an Introduction to KAP Workshop at the Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge’s Environmental Education Center in Alviso. The center runs an interesting set of events, without charge, for the public. I always enjoy my time out there. On this particular Saturday there was a morning workshop on microbiology (Dr. Wayne Lanier at the Weep), my photographic session, and a nighttime star gazing event.

This iteration of the KAP talk seemed to go fine. Better yet there was wind at the end of the talk so that I could offer a live demonstration of KAP in action. This photo set after the jump contains images of the group as I launched the gear and aerial images of New Chicago Marsh taken after the workshop. New Chicago Marsh was as photogenic as ever.
