I am working on the collaborative geo-annotation angle again. Tonight’s step forward was assembling and ‘zoomifying’ a base map of South San Francisco Bay.

The source file for this scrollable map is a whopping 8.500 x 9, 200 pixel jpg file at 35 Mb. Click on the image above and you can zoom and pan. Can someone on a Macintosh let me know if it is working?
